September 26, 2010 – Five-time Race Across America (RAAM) winner, Jure Robič of Slovenia, was killed in a traffic accident in Australia on Friday. The 45-year-old ultra-endurance athlete was training for the upcoming Crocodile Trophy mountain bike race reports WIKINEWS. Robič won the RAAM five times, including this year’s edition of the event.
