by pedalmag.com

April 17, 2010 (Apeldorn, Holland) – Kirsten Wild (Ned) Cervélo TestTeam won the 141km Ronde van Gelderland on Saturday over Rochelle Gilmore (Aus) Lotto Ladies Team in second with Kristy Broun (Aus) Australia National Team in 3rd. Canada’s Joanie Caron lead the Canada National Team in 16th.

“It was aggressive from the start and the pace was high throughout the race,” said Caron in a Sportcom interview. “I am a good sprinter and my goal was to prepare for finish. I was extremely well placed, but wasn’t able to take advantage this time. It was good experience to achieve better results in future competitions. “
