July 13, 2005 – The Parkdale Liberty Economic Development Corporation is holding a special event at our Farmers Market on Wednesday, July 20, 2005. The event is called “Ride With Us: Bicycle Day at the Market” and will take place from 11:30am-1:30pm on Liberty St. between Jefferson and Pardee and again from 3:00pm-7:00pm in Masaryk-Cowan Park. This event promotes cycling in general; more specifically safety, and using the TTC with your bicycle. Members of the Cycling Ambassadors, the Green Fleet, and the Community Bicycle Network will be present to give free advice and free bicycle check-ups.
