Revolution 1 Results – Canadian Riders Down Under

November 25, 2007 (Melbourne, Australia) – Here are the results from yesterday’s Revolution 1 track racing in Melbourne, Australia where Canada’s Zach Bell and Martin Gilbert (Bicycle Superstore) Gina Grain and Ryan McKenzie were on the track.

Gina Grain from Australia

“All is well. Zach Bell and I have been down here in Australia for a month preparing for the Sydney World Cup. We’ve had incredible access to a beautiful indoor track and personal motopacing sessions. Zach and I basically set up our own pre-world cup training camp. Between this, local crit racing and summer weather we will be as ready as we can.

Things are going really well. It is nice to do a track focus after a good long road season. We are both excited about the first two world cups which are so important for Olympic Qualification. Zach is sitting 2nd and I am sitting 3rd in UCI points going into the world cup season.

This weekend Zach Bell, Martin Gilbert, Ryan McKenzie and myself will be competing in the Melbourne Revolution as a tune up race for the world cup next weekend. The next day we will fly to Sydney.”
