January 27, 2016 – As we ramp up towards the 2016 UCI Track Cycling World Championships to be held in London, England, March 2-6, here’s an exciting and inspiring video of Canada’s recent Women’s Team Pursuit World Cup victory in Hong Kong that saw them win the final round of the series and secure the overall title – report and photos here.

All six of Canada’s team pursuit athletes had the chance to compete throughout the three rounds of racing. In the gold medal race, it was Jasmin Glaesser, Stephanie Roorda, Laura Brown and Georgia Simmerling who put down the winning performance against defending Olympic Champions Great Britain. With August’s Rio Olympics quickly approaching, Canada’s WTP squad is on track to bettering their bronze from London 2012.
