November 05, 2018 (Toronto, Ont.) – Reid Bikes announces a new partnership with Vellendtech, a Canadian bike and accessory distribution company located in Toronto, Ontario. Founded in 1990, Vellendtech is an experienced distributor with a bike team focussed on  serving Canadian IBDs (Independent Bicycle Dealers). Reid was formerly with Step 4 Distributing in Alberta and both companies mutually agreed to part ways.

The bikes will be distributed from Toronto, with some immediately available stock with more to follow in Spring 2019. Vellendtech will have no minimums for Reid in repeat inventory and small minimums in booking inventory. The MSRP range for Reid in Canada will be from $149 to $3,200 with most bikes around the $400 to $600 range.
