March 16, 2012 (Banff, AB) – After just 36 hours since registration opened for the inaugural RBC GranFondo Banff, it has reached two thirds of capacity. Just five hundred spots out of a total of 1,500 remain to be filled.
Event date is August 25th.
Starting and finishing in the beautiful mountain town of Banff, the 142-km route will take cyclists into the heart of the Rockies to experience the awe-inspiring nature of Banff National Park. The event will be the first of its kind to take place completely within the boundaries of a national park and will appeal to cyclists of all levels of cyclists, from recreational to advanced.
