April 13, 2013 (Vancouver, BC) – Online registration opens on April 12 for BC Superweek, which includes the Tour de Delta, UBC Grand Prix, Gastown Grand Prix, Giro di Burnaby and Tour de White Rock. The men’s races are for Pro/1/2 riders. The women’s races are open to Pro/1-3 categories. New for the men in 2013 is the UCI (1.2) White Spot | Delta Road Race, which was formally the 3rd stage in the Tour de Delta.

BC Superweek offers nine races over 10 days from July 5-14. For stage racers, BC Superweek’s road races and climbs are a perfect tune-up for the Cascade Cycling Classic, which starts in nearby Oregon two days later. BC Superweek will also feature six crits, including three mid-week between the Manhattan Beach and Boise races. More than $70,000 in cash and thousands more in primes will be on the line in those three races, with crowds of more than 20,000 expected for the Global Relay Gastown Grand Prix’s 40th anniversary.

Online registration is available HERE, with early registration discounts in effect until June 27. Discounts are also available to riders entered in all stages, and teams that sign up six riders for the series can register an additional three riders at no cost.
