March 26th, 2004 – Lyne Bessette (Quark) cut into the lead of current overall leader Genevieve Jeanson (RONA), by winning the women's road race to Oak Glen. Bessette, the 1999 Redlands Classic champion, completed the 57-mile race in three hours, 57 minutes. Jeanson and fellow Canadian Sue Palmer Komar (Genesis Scuba-FFC) finished third and fourth respectively. Also of note, on top of being the overall leaders, Jeanson currently holds the climber's jersey.
