September 10, 200 (Virgin, Utah) – Kolob Reservoir Rd. Red Bull Rampage is
returning for a second year to invite 45 of the world’s best freeriders to
compete on a challenging course in Virgin, Utah! Over $10,000 US in prizes
is being offered. The format is said to be similar to that of an extreme
skiing contest. Red Bull will allow riders to choose their own lines and
difficulty levels within designated locations. Riders will be judged in
five areas, difficulty of line, style, amplitude, fluidity and overall
impression. The official list of riders has not yet been released.

Red Bull is also sponsoring the upcoming Red Bull Bike Battle (September
21, 2002) and the return of the Red Bull Ride in Australia in late January
2003. Canadians Wade Simmons and Dave Watson finished 2nd and 4th there
respectively!
