April 14, 2005 “” Red Bull Divide & Conquer returns for its second year to Durango, CO. The race is an open competition featuring four-person relay teams dividing efforts by specialty to conquer rigorous trail running, paragliding, kayaking and mountain biking courses along the most merciless terrain of the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. A maximum of 50 teams will vie for the US$17,500 prize purse and an all-expense paid trip to Austria to compete in the legendary Dolomitenmann race.
Male and/or female outdoor athletes who specialize in trail running, paragliding, kayaking or mountain biking are invited to register.

It should be noted that each leg of the race consists of rugged terrain, temperamental weather, and dizzying altitudes that will test skill, stamina and determination. In order to assure a safe field for everyone, a “voucher” system will be employed. All entrants must provide a credible person who can vouch for their abilities to conquer the proposed terrain, and will be subject to final approval to race by a selection committee.
