September 21, 2009 (Lakewood, WA) – Sue Butler (Monavie-Cannondale) and Jonathan Page (Planet Bike) were the winners of the Rad Racing Gran Prix in sunny weather on Sunday following the Star Cross event on Saturday where rain made for a slippery crash-laden event. Alison Dunlap (LUNA Chix) was second and Kari Studley (Velo Bella) was 3rd in the women’s race while Star Cross winner Christian Heule (Rendementhypo Cycling Team) was second followed by Jamey Driscoll (Cyclocrossworld.com-Cannondale) in 3rd.

Following her crash with Dunlap at the Star Cross race Canada’s Alison Sydor (Maxxis-Rocky Mountain) did not race on Sunday and top rider Tim Johnson (Cyclocrossworld.com) was also not on the start line due to his shoulder injury at Saturday’s race.
