July 29, 2017 (Quebec City, QC) – The new MTB kid on the block, Québec Singletrack Expérience, kicks off on July 30 and runs until Aug. 5 and features a unique international mountain-bike stage event with base-camp in Quebec City.
Pedal is stoked to be on board with veteran B.C. rider, Paul Craig, to bring readers daily reports from this fabulous new event that highlights seven outstanding destinations in the Quebec City area: Mont-Ste-Anne, Vallée Bras-du-Nord, Shannahan and St-Raymond sectors, Sentiers du Moulin, Lac-Beauport, Valcartier military base and Lac Delage. Organized by the highly successful Pentathlon de Neiges, with over 5,800 participants at the 2016 edition, we’re looking forward to checking out trails in the backyard of Olympian Raphael Gagne (Cannondale 3Rox Racing).
“What a spectacular venue for the hub at the Quebec Singletrack Experience. Only meters away from the historic Plains of Abraham and a short walk Old Quebec City,” reports Craig. “Organizers have created a great atmosphere at the hub and the registration process went smoothly. I’m heading down to the St Lawrence River for a quick ride and later tonight after the race meeting and dinner all the riders will do a night ride through the old city. Thanks again for this opportunity.”Read more about QSE here and here – launch video below.
