November 11, 2004 – Threshold Sports, LLC, producers of the Pro Cycling
Tour, has released the official dates for the first of its 2005 race
calendar. These events and dates are:

– Wachovia Cycling Series-Lancaster May 31
– Wachovia Cycling Series-Trenton June 2
– Wachovia Cycling Series-Philadelphia June 5
– New York City Cycling Championship July 31
– San Francisco Grand Prix Sept 4

Robin Morton, PCT Technical Director, reports that the Wachovia Cycling
Series and the San Francisco Grand Prix have been upgraded on the UCI
Continental Calendar. The men’s events in San Francisco and Philadelphia
have been given the highest possible classification, the Hors category. The
Wachovia Liberty Classic (women’s ) is now a 1.1.

“We have a number of other sizeable races on the drawing board to be
announced,” noted David Chauner, president and CEO of Threshold. “As the
details become finalized, we will share the news over the next few months.”
