April 3, 2003 – Poley Mountain Ski and Snowboard Resort, located in Sussex, NB announced that they are officially closed for the 2002/2003 winter season. After receiving over 100mm of rain, Poley was forced to close its' doors after 96 days of operation. “We recorded our best sales and profits ever!” exclaimed General Manager Ted McShane. “Poley is a community owned resort that is dedicated to putting all profits back into the mountain to make it better every season” explained McShane. “We are in the process of deciding what we will be investing in for next year.” Mr. McShane attributed Poley's record year to loyal customers, good weather and exceptional staff.
