May 1, 2011 (Mansfield, ON) – Emily Batty (Subaru-Trek) and Adam Morka (Trek Canada MTB Team/Fonthill) lead the Elite Women’s and Men’s fields at the opening round of the Plastiglas Ontario MTB Cup series held at the Mansfield Outdoor Center on Sunday. Catherine Fleury (Équipe du Québec-Cyclone d’Alma) won the Junior women’s 25.31km race and Daniel Varga (Opus/OGC) topped the field in the Junior Men’s 33.81km race. According to Kyle Douglas from 3Rocks Racing, “Conditions were perfect… No rain and not too hot.”
