August 5, 2009 – The Ontario Cup XC # 6 takes place Sunday, August 9th at Mountain View Ski Hill in the beautiful town of Midland. Last year’s inaugural year was met with many smiles as riders negotiate the unique topography and trails of Mountain View. The intimate setting, and passion of the associated club make racing at Mountain View a truly special experience. Midland is a great town with plenty of accommodations, and is only a short 1.5 hour drive north of the GTA.

Those who’ve raced for years see this as a classic old school course. The steeper than average grades of singletrack climbs and descents, and the classic ski hill climbs are reminiscent of the courses of the early to mid 90’s . A great test of late season fitness, Mountain View is the perfect race to get you geared up for the Provincial Championships

The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of 7 events taking place at premier mountain bike venues all across Ontario. These events have categories for all mountain bike ability levels.

– Pre-ride: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm
– Event Day Registration Open: 10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sunday, August 9th
– Event Day Registration Open: 7:00 am – 1:00 pm
– X-Country Racing: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
(Elite Men and Women race at 1:30 pm)
