March 17, 2005 – Chico Racing is pleased to announce that Plastiglas Industries Ltd. will be the title sponsor of the 2005 Plastiglas Ontario Cup Mountain Bike Race Series. This new partnership will enable Chico Racing to continue to bring the highest quality events to the Ontario mountain biking public. “Chico Racing is very excited to have Plastiglas on board for the 2005 Ontario Cup Series. , says Adam Ruppel, President of Chico Racing. “It’s partnerships such as these that show the community’s enthusiasm and support for the grassroots sport of mountain biking.”

Plastiglas Industries Ltd., is an Ajax based company who specialize in handcrafting award winning architectural accessories and products. These products include planters, waste containers, tables, recyclers for glass, plastic and paper, urban benches, children’s furniture, supermarket fixtures and water park attractions. Plastiglas has partnered with Chico Racing to give back to the sport community.

The Plastiglas Ontario Cup series is affiliated with the Ontario Cycling Association (OCA). The series continues to appeal to all competitors because of appropriately designed courses to fit all rider abilities and ages. Anyone from a professional rider, to beginners, will compete over courses that range from 6.5 km to 45 km in length. The Plastiglas Ontario Cup Series consists of seven events taking place at premium mountain bike venues all across Ontario.
