April 22, 2008 (Uxbridge, On) — On Sunday, April 27th, 2008 Mansfield Outdoor Centre and Chico Racing will host the first of seven Plastiglas Ontario Cup mountain bike races. Mansfield Outdoor Centre is an excellent early season venue as it has sandier terrain, which holds very well in all types of weather, and ensures drier early season conditions.

Competitors will do a series of laps over a 9 km course (6-7 km for 8:30am riders). Ontario’s best mountain bikers will be competing for early season dominance, while recreational riders will be out for some fun competition. Event day registration is available Saturday from 10:00am-4:00pm, and Sunday starting at 7:00am.

Pre-riding will be open Friday at 4:00pm, and begin at 9:00am, Saturday. For more information please refer to www.chicoracing.com.
