Conceptualized to exceed the expectations of Pivot customers worldwide, the carbon frame & fork mirror the quality, ride performance and sophisticated engineering abundant throughout the Pivot line.
Available in July, the Vault is outfitted in neon yellow atop a raw carbon underlay, sure to make a strong visual statement at major cyclocross courses and gravel grinder races across the globe!
Frame Details
– Pivot exclusive hollow box, high compression internal molding technology construction for a lighter, stronger, highly optimized, ride tuned frame.
– Perfect new school geometry for the best cyclocross courses and long days in the saddle at you favorite gravel grinder.
– The Vault features the 386Evo oversize bottom bracket design. Accepting most cranks, the 386Evo increases both rigidity and strength while also offering improved power transfer.
– Engineered with ample chainstay clearance to accommodate wider rims and tires.
– Outfitted with carbon rear dropouts with aluminum inserts allowing easy conversion between 130mm and 135mm hubs (disc or canti-lever).
– Recessed cantilever boss mounts are plugged and hidden when not in use making for a clean disc brake specific frame design.
– Brake cable routing under the down tube creates a clean inside triangle for easy shouldering.
– Internally routed shift cables.
– Di2 compatible.
Fork Details
– Full carbon fork with oversized crown tapering to a normal cyclocross dimension at the dropouts, the Vault fork offers substantial mud clearance, precise steering quality, and virtually eliminates brake chatter
– 1.5 tapered carbon steer tube
– Accommodates cantilever or disc brakes
The Vault frameset retails for $2,600.00 or $4,200.00 complete with the new Ultegra 11 speed group, TRP HY-RD Hydraulic disc brakes, and Stan’s tubeless ready cross wheels.
