April 11, 2013 (Redlands, CA) – Australian cyclist Loren Rowney (Specialized Lululemon) made Sagan-esque waves after finishing third at the Redlands road race last weekend and then squeezed the bum of a young man on the podium, reports The Daily Mail. This was in response to Slovakian rider, Peter Sagan (Cannondale), who infamously pinched the bottom of race hostess Maja Leye on the podium at the Tour of Flanders on March 31, where he finished second.

“I don’t think the poor guy had any clue what was going on!” tweeted Rowney about how she squeezed the young man’s behind on the podium in California.

There has been widespread condemnation of Sagan’s action, together with some gestures of support. All of this has led to a flurry of funny photos (some explicit) and videos.
