Pedal\’s 2005 Canadian Cycling Awards – Winners!

December 31, 2005 – The votes are in! After tallying the ballots, the winners of Pedal’s 2005 Canadian Cycling Awards are as follows:

Victoria, B.C.’s Geoff Kabush takes the coveted award of Best Cyclist Overall after another incredible season on the rough stuff. Kabush edged out Marie-Hélène Prémont of Quebec and Toronto’s Michael Barry. Not surprisingly, Kabush also took the award as Best Male MTB Cyclist, while Prémont took the women’s best MTB rider.

Victoria, B.C.’s Erinne Willock won the Best Female Road Cyclist award, edging out the Quebec duo of Lyne Bessette and Genevieve Jeanson. Barry was the top Male Road Cyclist.
