July 12, 2004 – Tomorrow pedalmag.com will launch its first TDF 2004 Contest to get readers even more excited about this years Tour, and to find out who’s got a crystal ball that’s worth anything.

The Tour de France is in full swing, and it appears that this may be one of the most hotly contested races in years. There’s USPS’ Lance Armstrong going for his sixth winS but what about T-Mobile’s Jan Ullrich, CSC’s Bobby Julich, Phonak’s Tyler Hamilton, Rabobank’s Levi Leipheimer, or Euskadi’s Iban Mayo?

The Tour is set to heat up with the mountains looming and key time trials approaching with the yellow jersey in sight.
