December 31, 2010 (Toronto, ON) – Today is the final chance to vote for Pedal’s 2010 Cycling Awards. Victoria, BC’s Ryder Hesjedal still has tight grip on some categories as expected, but other categories continue to undergo exciting tug-of-wars. The race for Best Overall Senior/U23 Female Cyclist is very tight between Tara Whitten and Catharine Pendrel while Alex Cataford, Evan McNeely, and Remi Gauvin are in a close battle in the Junior Men’s competition.
Lauren Rosser now has a significant lead in the Junior Women’s ranks, but Allison Beveridge and Florence Laplante-Lamarche are still in the running. Robbie Weldon (B) and Lyne Bessette (pilot) now have a good lead in the Paracycling category but Geneviève Ouellet (B) and Emilie Roy (pilot) are still within reach.
There’s still time to vote, so make sure you have your say on which of Canada’s top riders deserve top honours in Pedal’s 2010 Cycling Awards.
