– Wade Simmons cracking his femur for a video shoot – a 50-foot ravine jump gone wrong.
– Darren Butler – if you didn't see it on Drop In – he totaly bailed off a huge 25-30ft road gap and busted his feet.
– Carrie Tuck @ Bikes on Broadway 2002. skipped her pedal on a corner, crashed head over handlebars, finished the race & won GC then discovered she had broken a collar bone racing seven weeks later and screamed bloody murder when the nurse touched the break.
– Steve Copeland, Ontario Master B road race at this year's road nationals in Harrington, On. Broke collar bone and the x-ray showed a presta valve stem completely lodged in the fleshy part of one of his forearms.
