January 13, 2014 (Cambiago, Italy) – For the next installment of Pedal Magazine’s ITALY 2013 Factory Tour Series, we get a behind-the-scenes peek at renowned bike brand Colnago, a leader in technology known for its gorgeous and innovative rides. The brand is celebrating its 60th anniversary this year and was one of the first stops that our intrepid reporters, Christopher Balogh and Tim Lefebvre, made on a recent pilgrimage to Italy where they visited 10 factories for an inside look at some of the iconic brands in cycling.
In this segment we meet company founder, Ernesto Colnago himself, who shares his vision of cycling as a way of uniting communities and people. Colnago talks about his company’s storied past, present and future and why he believes all race bikes will eventually be equipped with disc brakes. Balogh and Lefebvre then experience the company’s rich cycling history in Colnago’s amazing museum before heading out on a test ride.
