August 12, 2008 (Port Dalhousie, Ont.) – Don’t miss the annual Pedal 100 for Heart and Stroke this Sunday, Aug. 17 beginning at Henley Island, Port Dalhousie, Ontario. This annual ride through beautiful wine country in the heart of Niagara raises money for the Heart and Stroke Foundation with distances to suit all levels – 30km, 60km, 100km, 160km, and 200km.
Last year broke records for the highest number of participants with 339 riders raising $34,000 for Heart and Stroke – the most ever raised. Proceeds allow the Heart and Stroke Foundation to continue funding world-class heart disease and stroke research. Helmets are mandatory.
