May 14, 2003 – The Danish team CSC's run of victories continued, with Denmark's Thoma Bruun Eriksen taking the stage over two Germans, Ralf Grabsch (Team Wiesenhof) and Volker Ordowski (Gerolsteiner). The 212K race saw six riders finish ahead of the pack, which had Canada's Charles Dionne (Saturn) sprint to the finish in the bunch finishing 13th. Steffen Wesemann (Team Telekom) leads the race over Ondrej Sosenka (CCC-Polsat) by ten seconds, and the duo have a whopping seven minutes over third place. The race is definitely between these two barring any unforseen circumstances.
