Park Tool Sponsors Symmetrics Pro Cycling

January 22, 2007 (Vancouver, BC) – Symmetrics Pro Cycling is pleased to announce an exciting partnership with one of the worlds best known cycling properties, Park Tool.

For 2007, Symmetrics Pro Cycling has already upped its sponsorship and rider commitment, bringing in big names like MTB rider Geoff Kabush and track ace Zach Bell. Further to their development as a lead player in cycling, Canada’s number one pro team hired Geoff Brown as head mechanic, who comes back to Canada after over a decades experience with Lance Armstrong’s Discovery/US Postal and Motorola teams. Brown, one of the best known mechanics in the business, was overly enthused to have Park Tools as his weapon of choice.

“I’ve always used Park in Europe, so this partnership is great news to me,” Brown explained. “Having the right tool for the job makes all the difference in the world. Knowing I have Park in my hands means the guys and girls can be assured of quality all-round as their bikes are being worked on.”

Based out of St. Paul, Minnesota, Park Tool has been manufacturing bicycle specific tools since 1963. A long-term dedication to quality, innovation, and customer service has made Park Tool the first choice of professional and home bicycle mechanics around the world.

Working with a team like Symmetrics is synonymous with our belief in family and the community, explained Eric Hawkins, CEO Park Tool. They are a family-run cycling team with a great interest in providing solid role models to the youth of tomorrow, so sponsoring them was a perfect
match.
