April 18, 2010 (Ancaster, ON) – Mike Garrigan (Jetpower) won the men’s 60km race with a fast time of 1:47 (33 km/h) while British champ, Helen Wyman (Gbr), took the women’s 60km race in good conditions as the day started out a bit overcast but gave way to sunshine for approximately 1,900 riders on Sunday. The wind was a factor and the chutes were really muddy but the temperature was reasonably warm.

Andrew Watson (Norco) finished second in the men’s race and Peter Mogg, who got away on his own for the first 30km but was caught, placed 3rd. Melissa Bunn (Stevens) finished second in the women’s race with MTB star Laura Bietola (3 Rox Racing) claiming the third spot on the podium. Leigh Hobson (Nanoblur/Gears) was fourth and Sue Palmer-Komar was 5th.
