CPC delivers programs that strengthen the Paralympic Movement in Canada, including sending Canadian Teams to the Paralympic Games. The CPC empowers persons with physical disabilities, through sport. The CPC Paralympic Teams Manager will manage all aspects of the day-to-day organization and preparation of the Canadian Paralympic Team’s involvement in the Paralympic and Para Panamerican Games.

In collaboration with the CPC Games Missions Committee, be responsible for developing and implementing the plan to ensure the successful preparation of Canadian Paralympic Teams at Major Games. Key areas of responsibility will include: Village Operations, Accreditation and Entries, Team Clothing, Travel, Athlete and Eligibility Agreements, Special Events, Volunteer Management and Stakeholder Liaison, along with all other duties required to support the Canadian mission. The successful candidate shall seek and receive overall direction from the CPC’s High Performance Director. The salary for this employee position will range from $46,359 – $52,850, and the position will be based in CPC’s Vancouver office. Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:
“¢ Working knowledge of the Canadian sport system and the Paralympic Games
“¢ Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work within a multi-task environment
“¢ Post-secondary education, preferably in Sports Administration/Management
“¢ Proven organizational and creative problem solving skills
“¢ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both official languages
“¢ Experience as member of a major Games mission
“¢ Experience managing volunteers
“¢ Strong computer skills
