February 8, 2007 – Yesterday we posted the news that International Paralympic Committee (IPC) President Sir Philip Craven and International Cycling Union (UCI) President Pat McQuaid signed an agreement for the transfer of governance of cycling for persons with a disability from the IPC to the UCI. Canada’s Louis Barbeau (CAN) was appointed as the President of the new UCI Para-cycling Commission and was present for the historic signing. Here are some photos from that special day.
