July 09, 2013 (Aguascalientes, Mexico) – Canada’s Eric Johnstone and Kinley Gibson are well-placed respectively in the Men’s and Women’s Omnium after three rounds. Johnstone is second overall after winning the Flying Lap, placing 4th in the Points Race and then was second in the Elimination. Gibson won the Flying Lap as well, placed 4th in the Points Race and 5th in the Elimination to sit 3rd overall.
Canada’s Marc-Antoine Noel, Jeremie Lacasse and Guillaume Roussell were 5th in the Men’s Team Sprint while Martin Rupes was 10th in Men’s Keirin followed by Simon Fothergill who was tied for 15th. Kristen Sears was 5th in her heat in the Women’s Keirin to finish 9th overall.
