The road race was a mix of Categories 3, 4, Masters 40+ and U19.“Alex was very active in both races and this was a great race experience for both of them as well as rest of PCC athletes who all raced well,” said PCC Head Coach, Houshang Amiri. Alex rode for Cycling BC-Pacific Cycling Centre and Chris for VIPYRS cycling club.
“PCC would like to thank Bob Cameron and PISE for their generous financial contribution towards this event, and we hope in the future this event can bring team and riders from outside BC, as well as providing and excellent racing experience for our high performance program in Victoria. Without quality racing close to home our athletes won’t achieve their high performance goals,” adds Amiri.
PCC would also like to thank Action Motorcycles for providing the pace motor bike for the event.
