Olympic commentator Randy Ferguson will be back to emcee an evening that includes dinner, dancing, and celebrating the people who have had an impact on the local cycling scene.
Among the highlights of the evening will be:
- An Olympic cycling medallist with a new Ottawa connection
- The 2015 recipients of the Seenite Sports National Capital Region Cycling Bursary.
- Recognition for some of the people we can thank for the region’s vibrant cycling scene
- An update on the Ottawa Velodrome Project
Part of the proceeds will go towards helping the The Cyclery-Opus women’s team travel to B.C. for Super Week in July. The rest will go to the Seenite Sports National Capital Region Cycling Bursary, which has raised more than $35,000 to support local cyclists.
We look forward to celebrating the upcoming cycling season with you! Please pass this email along to anyone else you think will want to attend.
