March 5, 2006 — We contacted Kris Westwood, the CCA’s High Performance Director, regarding Robyn Snyder Walters open letter that we posted on March 4, concerning her husband Mark Walters being left off the National Team. Westwood indicated that he would respond to Robyn directly.

He added a factual clarification stating that he wasn’t Mark Walters’ advocate at the 2002 appeal – Tim Lefebvre was — and that the appeal was not about Walters’ selection, it was about the process used to change the criteria once Canada’s worlds quota dropped from two spots to one.
