December 21, 2004 – The group who put the plans together for Ontario’s first Indoor Velodrome in 30 years are pleased to announce the first $40,000.00 have been invested. This working capital is to begin the process of making the centre a reality.

Since the announcement was made on Saturday afternoon, over 65 emails of encouragement have come in. This is a good sign that we will have the support needed to make the Velodrome work. We believe that the time is right to take Ontario & Canadian cycling to the next level.

Programs for Youth, Masters, Recreation & Elite riders will be outlined in the next few days.

The cycling community in London seems to be solidly behind the project. On Monday night there was a three minute TV spot on the New PL showing Londoners what we are planning.
