Ontario\’s Jamie Beblow Racing Tropical Race Get-A-Way

December 1, 2005 – From January 29-February 4 2006, OCA staff member Jamie Beblow will race in the Temple to Temple 7-Day race in Belize. Jamie is the OCA’s Manager of High Performance Programs with the OCA and will be racing in the Temple to Temple to raise money for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto.

Jamie’s goal is to raise $10 for every kilometer traveled which means $7,500 donated to the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Toronto on behalf of his supporters.

Big Brothers and Sisters of Toronto is a nonprofit organization focusing on providing mentors to children in need of additional positive adult support.

The Temple to Temple is the world’s first bike race linking the great temples of Lubaantun to Caracol, Belize spanning over 750km in 7 days. The race will take competitors on and off the pavement through rugged mountains, jungle, caves, local villages, and, of course, Mayan ruins!

Below is a daily breakdown of what Jamie will need to accomplish for the duration of the race.
