August 26, 2009 – The 2009 Youth Road Series has seen some fierce competition thus far. The Tour di via Italia and the Tour of University Heights still remain, and with these points up for grabs, podium spots are still for the taking.

It’s sure to be a close finish for the Minime boy’s category, with only 10 points currently separating 1st place Adam Jamieson and 2nd place Tyler Lee. There will also be an exciting conclusion to the series in the Squirt girl’s category, where only 5 points separates leader F.K Adams from first runner up Charlotte Creswicke, with 3rd ranked racer Betty Paton still within reach of the silver with the Tour of University Heights double cup points. There has been very stiff competition in the Peewee boy’s category this year, where 3rd place for this season could be anyone’s to take. The current 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th ranking boys are all within a very tight 18 point range!

Youth Riders should be sure to clear their calendar for September 19th as Tour of University Heights has double the points up for grabs. Attendance to this event could make or break your series points ranking!
