June 2, 2007 – June 7th is the last day to register for the Tour of Speed presented by the Newmarket Eagles cycling club. The event which will be held on Saturday, June 9th event is for kids ages 10-16 (birth years 1991-1997) and does not require a license, citizen’s permit or even a club membership.

There are two events, a Time Trial and a Road Race on a safe, police-controlled course with no steep hills. This is a stand alone children’s event and there are lots of freebies, including a gift bag, BBQ and draw prizes. There are separate races with medals for the winners in 2-year age categories for both boys and girls.
