December 16, 2018 (Milton, ON) – The Ontario Cycling Association is offering a Provincial Level C Commissaire course for Road Cycling. The two-day course will be held on Saturday February 16th and Sunday, February 17th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Mattamy National Cycling Centre, 2015 Pan Am Boulevard, Milton.
This introductory level course will cover the structure of the sport of cycling, roles of the commissaires’ panel, basic road principles, types of road cycling events and skills required to work an event at the Provincial C level.
In addition to attending the course, participants are required to work two road cycling events as a Technical Assistant in order to be certified.
The cost for the course is $100 +HST. An ear piece radio attachment will be provided upon passing the written exam and $50 will be refunded upon the completion of three Technical Assistant assignments. Attendance is required on both days to complete the course.
The course is open to anyone with an interest in road cycling. A minimum of 5 registrants is required for the course to run. Attendance is required on both days to complete the course.
