September 05, 2013 (Oro-Medonte, ON) – A great forecast welcomes riders to Ontario Cup #7 the first-ever O-Cup event at Horseshoe Resort on Sept. 8. Up to 600 racers are expected to battle it out for Ontario’s racing crown at the 2013 Provincial MTB XC Championships. Lots of steep climbs, and up to 235m of elevation per lap will sure put late season fitness to the test, while a myriad of rock gardens, berms and twisty singletrack have been built for the event.

National champion Derek Zandstra (Scott-3Rox Racing)  and Peter Disera, fresh off an incredible silver medal at the worlds in Junior, will be in attendance. Provincial medals will be awarded for many categories, with the OCA on hand to help honour many accomplished riders that help keep the Ontario Cup series the premiere series in Canada.
