April 21, 2012 (Netherlands) –  Clara Hughes (Specialized lululemon) lead the Canadian charge at the Omloop van Borsele 19.5km ITT in in tough conditions on Friday won by local star and Hughes’ team mate Ellen van Dijk.

It rained continuously on the course around ‘s-Heerenhoek making for harsh conditions. Rhae Christie Shaw and Denise Ramsden racing for the Canadian National Women’s Team were 7th and 17th respectively.
