May 20, 2004 (Norristown, PA) – Olympic gold medallist and current US
Keirin and Team Sprint National Champion, Marty Nothstein, has recently
confirmed his intention to compete at the Wachovia Cycling Series – Trenton
race on June 3, 2004.

The Navigators Insurance rider, winner of the Match Sprint Gold Medal at
Sydney in 2000, and 2004 Olympic hopeful is gearing up for a bid to Athens,
Greece by competing in the grueling 91 mile Trenton race. The 6’2 sprinter
won the 2003 New York City Cycling Championship presented by BMC Software,
a criterion race similar in nature to the Trenton course, making him a race
favorite to capture the win in the second leg of the three part Wachovia
Cycling Series that begins in Lancaster, PA on June 1st and culminates in
Philadelphia, PA on June 6th.

Known as one of the fasted races in the world, the Wachovia Cycling Series
is celebrating its 15th year racing through the streets of New Jersey.
World-class riders complete on a 14 lap, 6.5-mile circuit. The race
provides high drama for the spectators as the field strings out and races
back and forth through the loop, crossing the front of the New Jersey State
Museum on State Street. The riders will wind around Cadwalder Park through
the turns of Barrack, Front Warren and Livingston Streets. The race will be
one of six official events on the 2003 Pro Cycling Tour (PCT).
