to win on a stage with several climbs. The sprinter held off Sandy Casar
(FDJeux.com) and Pedro Horrillio (Quick.Step-Davitamon) for the win. The
favourites, like Lance Armstrong (USPS) and overall leader Iban Mayo
(Euskadi) finished together.
