June 10, 2007 (East Gwillimbury, ON) – Great weather and racing was enjoyed by participants coming from all over Ontario. The Newmarket Eagles Cycling Club’s Youth Road Race, spearheaded by Mark Summers, was a strong beginning for youth road racing in Ontario. A total of 53 participants in 10-16 year old age categories competed in a morning 3km time trial and later in a 4.3km-lap road race of various distances up to 34 kms. Fantastic volunteers and supportive parents were on hand to witness impressive results from all.
