March 30, 2005 – The Ontario Cycling Association & London’s Forest City Velodrome are pleased to announce the first track camp at the new Velodrome beginning on Friday, April 22nd thru Sunday April 24th. This camp will introduce riders to the facility and get them up to speed over the weekend. The purpose of this Camp is to evaluate the fitness and potential of Junior, Senior, Women riders.
Agenda
Friday, April 22
– 6pm – 7pm – Track learn to ride program for 1st time riders of the London Track
– 7pm – 8pm On track tempo riding and pace lines to get use to the track.
– 8pm Flying 100m timed (this should give us the top speed of the riders)
Saturday, April 23
– 9am – 10am Warm-up Quickie LTR
– 10am – 11am Flying 200m timed (always good measure of speed)
– 11am – noon Flying 500m x2 timed (give riders minimal recovery 20min.)
– 2pm – 3pm Flying 1000m timed (measure the endurance of the riders)
– 6pm-10pm Racing Nas-track Madison league & regular mass start races.
Sunday, April 24
– 11am – noon Standing Start Practice
– Noon – 2pm 100m Standing starts timed
– 2pm – 2:30pm 100 lap tempo roll-up to finish the camp
– 2:30pm- 4pm Open Track time

– F.C.V.A. & O.C.A. members “no charge”
– Non Member cost $50.00 for the weekend
