October 27, 2008 – Here is the latest cycling news from Nova Scotia, including notice of the BNS AGM scheduled for December 7, and info about the Fear Of the Gorge! Super-D race on November 16.
BNS AGM
Bicycle Nova Scotia would like to announce the date for the annual general meeting. The AGM will be Sunday December 7th, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Ramada in the Burnside Park, Dartmouth NS. The Bicycle Nova Scotia Awards Banquet is scheduled for that evening at the same venue. Further, BNS and ECMTB are hosting a bicycle exhibition that will be open to the public, also at the Ramada. More details will be released by the end of October.
Bicycle Nova Scotia is also looking for people to fill some board positions. Those board positions available are:
– President
– Treasurer
– Road VP
– BMX VP
– Touring and Transportation VP ( the incumbent is re-offering)
– Marketing Director
– Registrar
