February 6, 2007 (Quebec City, QC) – This past Saturday evening, Mont Sainte Anne (MSA) hosted a cycling event that drew 30 competitors, 10 of whom were pros. Mountain bike fanatics rode the mountain in a BIKER-X competition, comprising an intense 313-metre sprint on snow.

The race was well appreciated by the crowd and by racers. There will be a rematch on February 24 at nearby Stoneham ski station. Winners sharing a purse of $800 were:

Registrations for the February 24 rematch are $30. Studded tires are forbidden – helmets are mandatory. The event will take place in full view of spectators with an announcer and a DJ.
