April 6, 2008 (Fountain Hills, Arizona) – Canada’s Geoff Kabush (Team Maxxis) powered away on Friday and Saturday winning the NMBS XC #2 Super D Time Trial and Short Track events respectively in Fountain Hills, Arizona. Georgia Gould (USA) Luna Women’s MTB took the women’s Super D Time Trial on Friday while team mate Katerina Nash (Cze) Luna Women’s MTB won the women’s Short Track race on Saturday. Canada’s Wendy Simms (Kona) was the top Canadian woman placing 3rd in the Super D Time Trial, and 4th in the Short Track competition.
